Admission

Admission process is based on the Common Admission Test (CAT) of the MG University, which is conducted at the national level. Students applying for the MA Programme in Economics, have to be graduates of Economics/ Mathematics or Statistics. In addition to 16 seats offered for applicants from Kerala, there are four seats reserved for candidates from other States of India. Besides, there are two seats for international students. There is high demand for the programme. In various years we had foreign scholars attending the programme. Currently (2021) there are two foreign student on roll, one each in the first and second year batches.
